EiC benefits site joins Google top 5000

Online sales and staff benefits operation www.cheapelectricals.co.uk hit £2m+ sales for 2006-2007 and achieved a top 5000 ranking from Google.

Google has varying levels of webmaster administration options that are dependent upon a website's ranking.

EiC now has its own Google campaign manager.

Ray Jobsz, Director of EiC, explained the strategy behind Cheapelectricals.co.uk: "In the old days many of our potential clients sourced through catalogues such as Argos, and they were the industry bible.

"In 2000 we identified the potential market change and knew we would need an internet presence as it was clearly going to be an important strategy for the future.

"In the last six years the site has grown to represent over £2m in sales and at its peak received more than 5 million hits and over 100,000 visitors.
