eDigitalResearch empowers business decisions

An Edigital Research product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Jun 17, 2008

Online research specialist eDigitalResearch has launched its new brand identity to reflect the changing market need for commercial actionable insights from data.

The company is moving from a 'death by PowerPoint' mentality to a more strategic focus for business.

Its new strapline, 'for informed direction', aims to demonstrate the insight and intelligence that businesses can gain from its broader and integrated research offering, which results in improved bottom-line profitability.

With businesses recognising that online market research is a more cost-effective, fast and accurate way of gaining insight to empower business decisions, eDigitalResearch has rapidly expanded its business and wanted to refresh its website and brand to appeal to a growing blue-chip client-base.

The company has continued to invest in a growing team of specialist researchers to provide quality measures and actionable insights for business.

The new brand identity has a more contemporary and professional look and feel, while retaining the original colour scheme of the well-established brand.

The new brand identity will be communicated through a unique talking avatar banner campaign.

The avatar, or virtual representation of a person, will take online users through a survey scenario that provides a snapshot view of whether their website and online communications are going in the right direction or wrong direction.

Michelle Fuller, Director of eDigitalResearch, commented: "Our 'for informed direction' strapline with the navigational compass is designed to show businesses how they will benefit from our integrated research offering.

"The avatar is a fun and innovative way of expressing our new look and service offering to an online audience.

"We feel that now is a great time to relaunch our brand, as more businesses are looking at cost-effective ways to gain quick insights into customer motivations through online market research".

The avatar-hosted banner campaign can be found on websites in the four core sectors of eDigitalResearch's business: retail, finance, travel and publishing.
