Eclipse Marketing wins FSA accreditation
Database marketing agency Eclipse Marketing has been awarded Financial Services Authority accreditation, following a six-month monitoring and assessment process.
Karen Mapstone, Eclipse's new business development director, said: "The FSA process was rigorous and we invested a great deal into gaining this accreditation, in terms of time, money and effort so we're delighted to have achieved it and proud to join the elite band of marketing agencies with FSA approval"

How social media is changing our business lives
David Pickering, Managing Director of Eclipse Marketing, believes that companies should be sitting up and paying attention to social networking rather than writing it off as a passing fad.
FSA accreditation provides assurance that providers adhere to industry standards and are compliant with codes of practice, as well as having the necessary management and security processes in place.
"While obtaining accreditation is a milestone, it is even more important that we maintain and build on the standards it represents", added Mapstone.
"FSA accreditation is part of a wider drive to continue the expansion of Eclipse's offerings, providing clients with end-to-end CRM solutions".
Despite the stringency of the FSA accreditation process, Eclipse was encouraged to find that no fundamental changes were needed in the way the company operates.
"Since we're already proponents of marketing best practice, for us it was very much 'business as usual'," Mapstone concluded.
