Wax creates on-pack campaign for McCoy's

Wax Communications has created an 'instant win' on-pack promotion for McCoy's that gives consumers a daily chance to win gadgets including game consoles, MP3 players and touch-screen phones.

The promotion is designed to help drive traffic to the newly launched McCoy's brand website.

To enter, consumers enter their on-pack code by text or visit the brand website to find whether or not they are a winner.

The campaign runs from 13 May to 15 September and is featured across all handypacks, multipacks and McCoy's Tortilla sharing bags in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Dave Littlewood, McCoy's account manager at Wax Communications, said: 'The main consumer of McCoy's is young men, who are not necessarily the ones doing the weekly supermarket shop.

'Our main challenge was to offer prizes that appealed to both of these key audiences.
