DMS creates direct mail pack for National Trust

A DMS product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Mar 10, 2010

DMS has been appointed by the National Trust to create a direct mail campaign in support of the charity's recent rebrand and ongoing strategy to encourage additional donations from members.

The pack focuses on encouraging existing members to take more responsibility for caring for the properties and places are part of their lives.

The direct mail campaign, entitled 'You', invites existing members to donate money to their chosen National Trust area, whether it is coastlines, landscapes, historic buildings or gardens.

The mail pack created by DMS focuses on the breadth of the charity's work and is underpinned by the strapline 'Without the National Trust, What Would You Do?' To provoke an emotional connection with members, the front of the pack is covered in a selection of brightly coloured verbs associated with the charity: relax, walk, eat, sail, and learn.

Once opened, the creative plays on the various National Trust locations and features imagery to encourage involvement from members.
