DJS presents debt collection findings

DJS Research has completed research for Echo, a sister company of South Staffordshire Water, comparing debt collection practices within the utilities (water) and local authority sectors.

Ali Sims, a research director who has carried out research within the utilities sector for the last 13 years, will be speaking about the findings at an industry conference on 25 June 2009.

Ali Sims said: 'The conference will be a good opportunity for all water companies and local authorities to gain valuable insight into current debtor trends from live data.

'We're looking forward to sharing the results from our research.

Topics to be covered at the event include: legislation and water bill collection; data sharing, data collection and data use; and trends in debtor behaviour.

The workshop is free to attend and exclusive to local authorities and UK water companies.
