2shop4 set to revolutionise shopping
Consumers across the world will soon be able to buy the products and services they see in ads by entering a text code from an ad into their mobile phone, with 2shop4.
From Thursday 1 November 2007, once registered online with 2shop4, consumers will be able to purchase the product or service they've seen advertised by texting a code to 2shop4 They will then be given the option to shop, the shopper then confirms they want to go ahead and is asked for a secure PIN to complete the transaction

2shop4 provides a fast, easy and convenient way for consumers to buy their favourite goods and services while a brand message is fresh in their minds.
Developed for Adland and online search engines by Mobile Tier One Partner Evevoy Developments in partnership with Dialogue Communications and Hero-Solutions, 2shop4 has appointed Saatchi and Saatchi on a global basis to handle sales of 2shop4 licences to brand owners, retailers, all principal advertising and media networks.
2shop4 works on Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and the other mobile phone networks; major payment methods include Visa, MasterCard and many online systems, also mobile phone billings for micropayments.
2shop4 codes can be added to ads, catalogues, online bookings, fast foods ordering systems and offers digital ticketing, coupons for events and any travel ticketing including airline and trains.
Peter Lovatt, vice chairman, Saatchi and Saatchi, who will run 2shop4 at Saatchi, said: "2shop4 is a revolutionary new way to shop offering consumers a fast and convenient way to buy what they want, when they want.
"With just two texts from their mobile phone, people can snap up whatever they see in an ad, whether it's TV, in a newspaper or magazine, on a poster, in store or online.
"It's a complete win-win for brand owners and consumers".
Andrew Curry, chairman of Evevoy Developments, said: "Starting at 5p a click-rate [subject to terms and conditions] 2shop4 can be added to virtual words and games, direct marketing, property marketing, stockmarket and book reviews, listings, search engines, travel and tourist information.
"A shopper can buy that fashion look, gadget or book a car test drive from an advert, DVD menu, magazine supplement or advertorial".
2shop4 SIM and PIN onphone and mobile shopping mall securities include Control Scan, VXN via 1st Data Networks, APACS new advisory password system, Digital Rights and Payment Card Industry compliances.
