Dialogue technology drives mobile shopping service
Technology from Dialogue Communications is behind the UK's first mobile shopping mall, 2shop4, which launched its trial service today and is set to revolutionise the way mobile users shop.
Company founder, Hugh Spear, 47, is overall chief executive officer across Dialogue Communications in the UK and Australia.
The restructuring was in part previously planned by Paul Griffiths and Spear, who pinpointed this management team as the group to drive the company forward.
Now following Paul Griffiths' tragic death this team has been put in place to continue the success of the company.
Spear explained: "In the UK we are in the midst of exciting changes in the industry, and we need the management structure in place to make the most of them.
"These management changes will enable Dialogue's product and service portfolio to exploited more fully at home and abroad and we also want to bring more of our product set to the Australian and New Zealand markets, where the growth based on SMS products alone has been phenomenal.
"We are empowering our management to take on a broader geographical remit and expect further growth as a result".
Peersman echoes these statements: "The business has demonstrated sustained success, and the new management team has the talent and motivation to grow the business even further both in the UK and internationally.
"I am really looking forward to the challenge of driving the company forward and I think the new team has the experience and knowledge to make next year even more successful than last".
Dialogue's year-end financial results for July 2007 show the company has had its best year yet, with turnover and profit both up on figures from last year.
The company moved to larger premises in Sheffield early in 2007 and brought in new staff to service the growing customer base.
In the mobile market, Dialogue has continued to provide its industry leading services to key UK operators and customers alike.
