Brand and interior design company 442 Design has been short-listed in the finals of The National Business Awards for Scotland 2008, sponsored by Orange.

The Awards, which recognise and reward business excellence, innovation and success, are uniquely open to organisations of all sizes from any industry sector public or private.
The finalists, including Scottish entrepreneurs, SMEs, multi-nationals and public sector bodies, will now prepare to make their presentations in person to a further panel of expert judges, including senior executives, academics and business specialists, from late July 2008.
Acknowledged as Scotland's leading showcase for achievement in business, The National Business Awards allows companies to benchmark their successes against organisations of all types.
Last year's winners included Kwik-Fit Financial Services, Glasgow Science Centre, Hilton Glasgow Hotel, Bigmouthmedia and Crieff Hydro.
Paul Tollet, Vice President Business Services, Orange UK, said: "I am constantly impressed by the quantity and quality of the entries for the National Business Awards for Scotland.

The winners of the 13 categories will be unveiled at a glittering gala awards ceremony at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on Thursday 11 September 2008.
