Cuckoo campaign drives awareness of radio station

Cuckoo Design has revealed that the All FM community radio station has reported a record number of volunteers after receiving help from the design agency's Invest in Ideas scheme.

Through the scheme, Cuckoo Design donates design and marketing expertise to help boost start-up businesses or inject momentum into existing brands.

Before it turned to Cuckoo Design, All FM had 200 volunteer presenters, producers, journalists, musicians, singers/songwriters.

As part of a strategy to raise awareness of the station and drive volunteers through the programme, Cuckoo worked alongside All FM to develop a communication campaign of online and offline activity around the events.

As a direct result of the marketing campaign, which included a full outdoor campaign - crossing new share distribution and bus advertising - All FM has experienced a 75 per cent increase in new volunteer calls per week, a 95 per cent rise in website hits and an 85 per cent rise in listenership.
