Publish! v2.1 is Cruse Control's multi-user, multi-platform, Filemaker-Pro-based database for publishers.

It enables the creation and tracking of bookings, subscriptions, invoices, payments and revenue, and the creation and management of sales leads.

Publish! can be integrated with existing systems or customised to suit individual needs.

Multiple titles and categories are catered for and customers can have different ad sizes in a series booking and be reminded when the series is due for renewal.

Reports of revenue, by title and by sales person, are automatically included and others can be created using Filemaker Pro 9.

Help screens give on-screen advice from within the database and all information is searchable and reportable.

User-definable categories enable marketing information to be tracked and stored, including letters, emails, faxes and phone calls.

Features include: email settings area that allows sending and receiving from different email accounts; emails and attachments stored within the database; easier access when sharing emails and attachments with other users in the workgroup; improvements on how users interact with attachments, open them and save them to other locations; other users do not need to be connected to your machine in order to view email attachments; preview attachments prior to sending them; number of database files further reduced; Apple Mac users can use Intel Processor Macs natively; and the latest version of the Mac OS X operating system 10.5, Leopard, is now supported.

Other features include: send HTML emails directly from the database; choose to receive some or all emails directly into the database; view contact history by company as well as by individuals; multiple categories for companies as well as individuals; send single or multiple SMS texts directly from the desktop.

The schedule/diary facility allows users to view appointments/phone calls by day/week/month.

Meeting Maker allows the user to invite others to a meeting, email them directly from the database and confirm attendance.

Users can store multiple web sites for any company and open them directly from the database.

In addition to the mail merge to letters facility, there is a mail merge to emails facility that allows users to create individual emails to selected groups in the database.

A record of each email or letter is kept with the individual contact details so that the user can see who has received which mailing.
