Arc promotes D840 as ultimate travel accessory
Arc UK has created an in-store, online, press and internal communications campaign for Samsung's D840 under the strapline 'The Ultimate Travel Accessory'.
The in-store stand features an LCD screen which clearly demonstrates the ultimate clarity of this High Definition camcorder over Standard Definition.
Consumers will be encouraged to try the camera themselves and see the exceptional quality of the on-screen images.
A consumer promotion of a free Mini HDMI Cable is being offered on all purchases made on the demonstration days.
"The brief was a true creative challenge for us because we had to demonstrate the superior nature of this particular product yet were limited to just 1.5m2 of store space," said Lucy Hewett, Senior Account Manager of Creative Direction.
"Anything we developed had to be compact yet designed to make people stop in the bustling and busy environment of an airport departure area".
The demonstration area will be live from early April in Gatwick North and South Terminals, Manchester Terminal 1, Stansted, Birmingham and Heathrow Terminals 1, 3, 4 and 5.
Each location is being staffed for 12 hours each day, seven days each week.
