Lovefilm and Absolute Radio in brand partnership

Cocktail Marketing has created a three-month brand partnership for Lovefilm with Absolute Radio.

Absolute Radio will promote Lovefilm on-air, when DJs are talking about films and DVDs, and on a dedicated microsite.

The station will run an on-air competition giving listeners the chance to win cinema tickets and a 30-day free trial of Lovefilm.

The promotion will also be featured in all weekly e-mail newsletters from Absolute Radio, which are sent to 300,000 people weekly.

Paul Greenwood, partnership marketing manager for Lovefilm, said: 'Partnership marketing is a cost-effective way to drive online rentals to several key target audiences through these lifestyle-focused partnerships that provide a good environment to target potential customers.
