Cocktail creates Holiday Inn and FF partnership

Cocktail Marketing has created a partnership between Holiday Inn (Intercontinental Hotels Group) and the Famous Five (FF) brand from the portfolio of Chorion Rights.

Holiday Inn will print and distribute 30,000 double-sided A3 children's activity sheets promoting the Famous Five and the National Year of Reading across the restaurants of its 120 hotels nationwide.

Children will be encouraged to enter a competition to win one of 20 sets of Famous Five: On the Case books.

The entry mechanic will be via a dedicated Holiday Inn landing page, linked through from the Famous Five website.

The promotion will be supported with a television trailer on Welcome TV screens running for one month across 80 Holiday Inn hotels, which will drive customers to the restaurants to pick up activity sheets.

The trailer will use clips from the Disney Channel's Famous Five programming and will feature the National Year of Reading logo and web address.

The activity will run for two months from late October 2008.
