Cocktail creates student loyalty card partners

Cocktail Marketing has created a series of brand affinity partnerships for Varsity's V Card, a student loyalty scheme with more than 750,000 members.

Brand partnerships have been made in order to target a key audience of 18-25 year old students, including: Play.com; Dominos Pizza; Blockbuster; Express by Holiday Inn; EA Sports; Audible.co.uk; and Blyk.

In return for exclusive offers, brand partners will recieve exposure through branding on 750,000 V Cards valid from September 2008 until 31 July 2009.

Cocktail said the value of this exposure is worth GBP6m over the year.

Other exposure will include branding in all Varsity bars across the UK, including A boards, posters, leaflets and menus in the main bar area and washrooms, partner branding on Varsity's homepage with a dedicated landing page for each partner offer, and presence on the Varsity e-newsletters and SMS texts.

All offers are redeemed through the Varsity Bars website.
