A Concentrix product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Sep 25, 2008

Concentrix has announced it is to distribute Tableau, a visual data analysis and business intelligence solution originally developed at Stanford University in the US.

Tableau is used by a variety of business decision makers, and Concentrix believes Tableau will bring benefits to its existing customer base, as well as new customers.

The software can work with an almost unrestricted amount of data from nearly any source, such as information held in CRM, Accounts or ERP systems.

Tableau also allows non-technical staff to display complex data in easily understandable forms, and provides a clear, quickly comprehensible in-depth analysis of what's happening within a business.

Peter Elgar, marketing manager at Concentrix, said: 'The appeal of Tableau for marketers is that it can link directly to live data in a CRM system.

'You don't need high-level technical skills or have to go on a long course to use Tableau, and it can quickly provide some deep insights into your marketing activities.

'For example, it can help you investigate factors like market shares, segments, verticals, lead and campaign analysis, forecasting, and so on.' Tableau is available from Concentrix as a standalone application or as a web-based server version.

Tableau Reader, a free application to enable anyone to look at Tableau results, is also available.
