BBC, MySpace, ITV and Intel join Internet World

Internet World, the business internet and digital marketing event, has announced its speaker line-up for 2008, including representatives from some of the biggest brands in the business.

Speakers at this year's event will include BBC Worldwide's Head of Mobile Peter Mercier, Managing Director of BBC.com Kym Niblock, Senior Vice President of MySpace.com Travis Katz, Annelies van den Belt, Head of ITV Broadband and Chris Hogg, Director of Marketing for Intel.

Internet World will take place at Earls Court London on 29 April to 1 May 2008.

This year's exhibition builds on last year's award-winning event which attracted representatives from some of the biggest names in world business - Procter and Gamble, General Motors, GlaxoSmithKline, Reuters and eBay.

Internet World is a forum that encompasses the central elements of corporate internet presence and all aspects of digital marketing - internet use by business, connectivity, digital marketing, content management and e-commerce.

James Drake Brockman, Director of Internet World, said: "With top speakers and an exciting programme, this year's event promises to be even bigger and better.

"We will be looking at the hot topics everyone is talking about - Mobile, IPTV, Convergence and Behavioural Targeting.

"Crucially, figures from last year's event show that more than half of our visitors came with the aim of purchasing new products and services - making Internet World the place for bringing together the key figures in the industry to meet, inform and do business".

Internet World is an established leading industry exhibition and conference.

Winner of Best Business Exhibition and Most Improved Established Exhibition in 2007.

This year will see the 17th Internet World in London and the event is the home for the UK Internet industry.

In 2007 Internet World had 12,909 attendees, over 270 exhibitors and was the biggest show of its kind in Europe.
