Leading housebuilder opts for Clear approach
Cala Homes, one of the UK's leading privately owned residential property developers, has appointed Manchester-based Clear Marketing Communications as its new marketing agency.
On the back of this significant six figure account win, Clear is considering opening a Scottish office sometime in the future to enhance the agency's service to Cala and its other clients with a strong Scottish presence including Smooth and Real radio stations, Millie's and Harry Ramsdens.
Cala Homes has offices in Aberdeen, Falkirk, Leeds, Birmingham and Staines, covering areas from Aberdeen throughout the Central Belt of Scotland and into the Borders, from Leeds to Harrogate and Sheffield, the West Midlands and the Home Counties in the South.
Clear Marketing Communications' remit is to evolve the Cala Homes brand, consolidate its communications and to support the company in the delivery of its UK business strategy.
Clear's appointment follows a strategic review of the Cala brand by Clear's consulting division.
Jim Smith, managing director of Clear Marketing Communications, said: "Clear Consulting carried out an extensive strategic review and brand reappraisal during 2006; we were then asked to prepare a brand communication proposal, after which we were appointed as Cala's marketing agency".
Prior to Clear's appointment, Red Cell had worked with Cala Homes since 2001.
Claire Erskine, group marketing manager for Cala Group, said: "This was a difficult decision for us to make, as we have enjoyed a good relationship with Red Cell over the past six years and would like to thank them for all their hard work.
"However, we are looking forward to working with Clear to take our strategic branding and marketing activity to the next level".
Cala's new integrated campaign - unveiling exciting new creative in line with the new brand positioning - is due to launch in October 2007.
Work includes press ads, brochures, on-site marketing and digital.
