'Esquire' magazine cover features Mirri substrate

The platinum anniversary issue of men's magazine 'Esquire', published by the National Magazine Company, has a special cover that features metallic silver Mirri substrate.

The April cover has a number of features, including a combination of silver Mirri, black-and-white foil and a die-cut hole revealing a section of one of 20 exclusively designed inside covers.

The metallic Mirri substrate was sourced from Mirri, a division of Celloglas.

The decorative finishes, including black-and-white foils and die-cutting, were produced by Celloglas at its Reading factory.

The cover was printed by Colour Five in Wembley using a B1 UV litho press, printed with UV inks and varnishes.

The Mirri cover was printed four colour plus white on the reverse and two colour on the front.
