Contented goes live, announces
co-founder
Contented, the digital strategy agency already working with international brands including Cutty Sark, has launched formally with James Turnbull joining as co-founder.
Previously James Turnbull was at full-service agency Tribal DDB, where he directed a range of digital activities for such global brands as GlaxoSmithKline and KLM He was previously head of strategy at New Media Maze, working with Sega, Universal Pictures, Fox and Swatch
Commenting on the importance of digital he said: "The era of digital experimentation is coming to an end; with traditional media and its audiences rapidly fragmenting, digital is already consolidating its place at the heart of communications strategy.
"Brand owners, realising that ad hoc siloed digital is ineffective, understand the vital necessity of knowing exactly where the audience is and how best to engage with it.
"This could include any permutation of websites, mobile, viral, online media or other digital platforms, all meshing with other traditional communications activity.
"Digital is no longer being an afterthought, as brands increasingly accept that it can only deliver to its full potential if a committed, strategic approach is taken".
Turnbull was welcomed by co-founder Rachel O'Sullivan, formerly MD of sister agency Rise Communications, who said: "Contented is ideally placed to work alongside clients in creating the building blocks necessary to remove the guesswork from digital communications.
"James has an impressive record, with almost a decade of digital experience which will be invaluable to Contented clients".
