Capscan debuts address management functionality

Capscan will demonstrate its new extended range of addressing products for SAP desktop, web and on-demand applications at the SAP UK and Ireland User Group Conference 2007.

Capscan, a leading supplier of international address management solutions and data integrity services, has announced that its new extended range of addressing products for SAP desktop, web and on-demand applications will be demonstrated for the first time at the SAP UK and Ireland User Group Conference 2007.

Visitors to stand S21 will learn how the range, which includes Uniserv's post and mail for mySAP Business Suite, integrates seamlessly with all popular SAP applications, to ensure users are confident that they are building a quality, accurate address database.

At the conference, Capscan will show how SAP users can integrate address management software into a large range of SAP applications to ensure accurate validation at every level.

Visitors will also find out how large volumes of address data from various sources can be validated, cleansed and enriched with the innovative Batch Cleansing System (BCS).

"Business today is information dense, users are requiring a more proactive approach to data quality", said Capscan Managing Director Terry Hiles.

SAP Product Range Address management products post and mail for mySAP Business Suite are certified as compatible for integration with SAP NetWeaver Application Release 6.10.

The products also integrate with SAP R/3 Release 4.6 C, mySAP ERP, mySAP CRM Release 4.0, as well as industry-specific solutions including IS-M and ISU.

post for mySAP Business Suite ensures that only addresses with a valid postcode, place name and street name, correct PO Box number (where applicable) and a correct house number are added to the SAP database.

mail for mySAP Business Suite reliably prevents the creation of duplicates in the database using automatically initiated checks and matching operations for new entries and alteration of data records.
