Cabvert flying high with Monarch

Award-winning low fares airline Monarch has extended its taxi advertising campaign with Cabvert Media for 2008.

This is the second consecutive year that Monarch has enlisted the help of taxi advertising in an innovative campaign that has seen iconic British taxis transformed to exhibit eye-catching Monarch ads.

The fleet of taxis, provided by Cabvert Media, has been extended and this year will have a greater presence in Birmingham and Manchester.

Cabvert's MD Lee Dentith commented: "We are delighted to be flying high with Monarch again this year; we are continuously showing our presence on a national basis and reinforcing the fact that we are the leading taxi advertising specialist in the UK".

Liz Savage, Managing Director of Monarch's scheduled service division, said: "The use of ambient media, and in particular taxi advertising, has been hugely important for Monarch over the past 12 months and was well received in customer research that was conducted last summer.

"The renewal of the contract with Cabvert for taxis in Manchester and Birmingham is a natural step as we look to drive continued awareness of the Monarch brand in these key UK cities".

Monarch is just one of several large companies that have recently turned to taxi advertising at Cabvert.

Outdoor advertising media are growing in popularity due to their creatively effective way of broadcasting commercial messages.

The striking Monarch fleet will be visible until 2010.
