Brand Learning unveils Marketing Leaders Programme
Brand Learning and the Marketing Society have announced the seventh annual Marketing Leaders Programme, which will take place during March to May 2010 at Warren House in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey.
The Marketing Leaders Programme is designed to support individuals who are preparing for, or have just taken up high-level marketing leadership roles.
It takes place in three modules and features marketing leaders from top companies as guest speakers, with facilitation by Brand Learning and the Marketing Society.
Module One, which takes place from 17-19 March, looks at 'Becoming a Great Marketing Leader'.
Speakers include: Kerris Bright, chief marketing officer at Akzonobel Decorative Paints; Ian Crook, marketing director - internet at Tesco; Steve Langan, managing director and group marketing director, Hiscox UK; and Jill McDonald, chief marketing officer at McDonald's.
The sessions will cover issues including team leadership, boardroom expectations and leading organisational change.
Module Two, 'Inspiring Marketing Leadership in Practice', takes place on 22-23 April.
Speakers such as Roisin Donnelly, corporate marketing director and head of marketing at Procter and Gamble UK and Ireland, and Peter Rampling, marketing director of Telefonica 02 UK, will provide insight into best practice in brand building, brand communications and leading for innovation.
Module Three covers 'Leading Marketing into the Future' as well as personal action planning for the attendees.
It takes place on 13-14 May and looks in particular at how marketing is changing in the digital age.
Speakers include Keith Weed, executive vice-president at Unilever; Obi Felten, head of consumer marketing at Google EMEA; and Simon Darling, founder of Quiet Riots and ex-Skype and Ebay.
