Academy initiative focuses on skills development

A Brand Learning product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Aug 6, 2009

Brand Learning has launched an academy initiative to make marketing skill development accessible to companies of all sizes.

The Brand Learning Academy has been developed to build foundation-level marketing skills for marketers seeking to build a better appreciation of the core principles and practices of marketing in both an 'in-house' and 'open-programme' format.

Initially, the Brand Learning Academy will focus on 'essentials level' skill development.

Six integrated (yet standalone) one-day modules have been recognised by the Marketing Society as offering all the elements needed for a high-quality 'in-house' marketing excellence programme.

Each module is focused on a different marketing skill: inspiring insights; building brands; winning innovations; strategic planning; activity planning; and integrated communications.

Businesses can choose to run as many or as few modules as they need in whatever combination they prefer.

They also have the option of an add-on tailored session to help implement the marketing concepts and practical marketing tools in their own business context.

The Brand Learning Academy is also being made available as an 'open programme' in a partnership that Brand Learning has formed with ISBA, to enable marketers who want to book independently through the training portal to develop their core marketing skills.
