As British interest in buying property overseas goes from strength to strength, the popularity of Channel 4's A Place in the Sun Live exhibition, in association with Moneycorp, has grown steadily, culminating in what promises to be the biggest and most extravagant show yet.

Taking place at ExCeL London from 30 March to 1 April 2007, A Place in the Sun Live will showcase thousands of properties, offer expert advice and provide an entertaining day out.

With record numbers of Brits looking to leave the UK permanently to start a new life abroad - and with 30% of show visitors interested in a making permanent move abroad - The Emigration Show will debut at A Place in the Sun Live.

It will provide access to essential information and experts who can advise on every aspect of emigrating.

A dedicated free seminar theatre will offer daily sessions on visas, work permits, tax, finance and more, held in partnership with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Know Before You Go campaign.

The spring show also introduces a brand new feature in the guise of a French pavilion, dedicated to promoting French property and lifestyle.

Of the 40 countries represented at the show, France is the second most popular destination for visitors looking to buy property abroad.

Unique French character properties will be on offer, from rustic farmhouses to Mediterranean Villas.

In addition, visitors can relax in the lively town square hosting its own French market.

The free seminars have become an intrinsic element of A Place in the Sun Live and are the most popular show attraction.

Always packed out, they will be back again with a fresh range of topics to inform and educate visitors on all aspects of buying a place in the sun.

Seminars will be divided between three theatres with a different style and focus in each one.

Theatre one will cover a range of topics from legal and tax advice to hot tips on letting property.

Seminar theatre two will focus on buying property in specific countries; questions can be put to a panel.

As mentioned above, seminar theatre three is part of the Emigration Show and focuses on everything associated with making a permanent move abroad.

Visitors will also find a host of innovative features designed to inspire and entertain including live entertainment, international music and dance including Parisian cancan, Spanish flamenco and American hoedown.

Amanda Lamb, host of Channel 4's hugely successful A Place in the Sun, is joined by high-profile guests who share their tips on house-hunting abroad.

Themed feature areas dedicated to popular destinations offer an insight into the culture and cuisine of Egypt, Spain, South Africa and the USA.
