Brandbank helps retailer expand offering
Brandbank, the content provider for multichannel retailers, has helped Wilkinson launch its first full-blown transactional website featuring the majority of its products sold in-store.
Worksop-based Wilkinson is one of the UK's fastest-growing high street retailers, offering everything from hardware and gardening products to health and beauty products, Christmas toys and gifts.
With its extensive studio facilities and vast experience in product data collection and distribution, Brandbank was appointed to photograph a large proportion of Wilkinson's range of more than 15,000 products and collect product data that could be used with the search facilities available on the Wilkinson Plus website.
Brandbank will continue to provide new and changed product images and data.
As well as the web images and data, a full complement of print-ready high-resolution images are available to be used by Wilkinson in other formats such as catalogues, leaflets, flyers and in-store point-of-sale material.
Rob Tarrant, managing director of Brandbank, said: "This was an exciting project for Brandbank, as we were involved in the launch of a new concept transactional website right from the start.
"We source, photograph and collect data for many of Wilkinson's products, which we deliver into the Wilkinson Plus website, keeping it up-to-date as products change".
Brandbank holds images and data for all major UK grocery brands and supplies this data to all UK online grocery retailers, as well as other retailers including Ocado, Asda, Superdrug and Nisa International.
