BPMA appoints first Director General
The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) has appointed Gordon Glenister as Director General.
Gordon Glenister has worked extensively in the promotions and incentives industry for more than seven years and has expertise in sales, marketing and team building As managing director of 1st Incentives, he has specialised in promotional gifts, loyalty programmes, hospitality, event management and team building

The BPMA has set up a website that aims to be the official sourcing portal for the promotional merchandise industry
Before founding 1st Incentives in 2001, he was head of marketing and new business development at Roantree Incentive Marketing for almost two years where he handled many blue-chip clients.
Prior to this he was with HP Bulmer for nearly eleven years as a national account manager.
On joining the BPMA as Director General, Glenister commented: "The BPMA is a successful organisation with an exciting opportunity to build on its solid reputation as a major force in the marketing industry.
"I also look forward to working with the members and the industry".
David Lebond, BPMA Chairman, commented: "Gordon will bring positive change and continued growth to the BPMA.
