VSO appoints Blowfish to raise donations online
Voluntary Service Overseas, the international development charity, is implementing a strategic online marketing campaign to help raise awareness of its work and increase donations.
VSO is the world's leading independent international development organisation working through skilled volunteers around the world.
It relies on donations to fund its global recruitment and training programme and send volunteers to countries where they can share their skills and help to change people's lives.
Blowfish Digital has been appointed to develop a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign that will target potential donors and skilled volunteers.
This will include the most effective keywords, creative management and link management to increase visibility and reach for the charity's mission and global projects.
Michael Dean, Head of Digital at VSO, said: "Our network of over 1,500 volunteers are a good mix of skilled professional people, students and school leavers working in over 34 countries.
"We are actively recruiting volunteers and seeking donations through a range of media to help meet our challenging targets.
"We can increase our reach out to key markets online through a carefully targeted campaign.
"Blowfish Digital has the expertise to help us achieve our objectives over the next 12 months".
