Neil Harvey, Creative Director of Bluehat UK, commented: "We wanted to create a game that was thought provoking - an event where the discussions last long after the game has finished.
"We want people to think about their own contribution and how they can change the way they impact on society and the environment".
The objective of the game is to build a sustainable community by completing a number of tasks that have points associated with them and these are converted into resources that to enable you to gain the elements required to build communities.
Although everyone will be working in teams in a competitive environment there needs to be a 'global' awareness of how the entire group is impacting the environment as the total emissions are monitored and need to be kept in check.
The irony of the activity and the element that provides transference of learning to the real world, is that by travelling around the world to complete the challenge, teams increasingly contribute to the negative impacts on the environment depending on their choice of transportation.
In order to complete the activity successfully, teams must build a sustainable local community while first controlling, and then reducing, their overall negative global impact.
This naturally leads them to think critically about global market economics and industrial culture while creating increasingly sustainable solutions as the activity progresses.
Eden delivers all the usual positive outcomes of a high-quality team-building event: decision making, goal setting; communication; resource and risk management; leadership and motivation; relationship building.
The game is recommended for groups of between 20 and 200 and can be played in hotel rooms or conference centres.
It takes over two hours to complete.
