Entrepreneurs launch video for the web service
A former BBC producer and a media entrepreneur have launched a powerful new communications tool for any PR firm whose clients use the web to deliver their messages.
Entrepreneur Paul Dunn and ex-BBC producer Dave Harries believe they have created something entirely new.
Their company, BizView.tv, specialises in shooting short, interview-based video reports so that organisations and individuals can have a professional and compelling video presence on the web.
In a nutshell, it creates a corporate welcome fit for the YouTube age.
"The era of video on the internet has arrived", said Harries, "people expect to see video on websites these days, but many sites are still just web versions of a printed brochure.
"A BizView video can bring your site to life and give a human face to your organisation or business".
Harries said that what makes BizView stand apart from other video production companies is its approach to production.
"We are not just pointing a camera at you and saying 'go'", he said, "we come along and use our broadcasting experience to interview the subject in a professional and sensitive manner, producing an informative and objective picture of what that person or organisation is all about".
Already, company directors, managers, authors, artists and even celebrities like Jilly Cooper have used BizView.tv to connect to customers, clients and staff in a new and exciting way.
"Our interview-based films are quick to make - typically half a day's filming", said co-founder Paul Dunn.
"They are concise and informative, shot for optimum internet viewing, and a lot more affordable than traditional corporate videos.
"There are lots of examples on our website so you can see for yourself how effective they are".
Once commissioned, BizView.tv will come to your location and film a professional but friendly and informal interview about your organisation.
The film is then edited with shots of the appropriate products or services intercut to make a short and informative video which is web friendly and easy to watch.
"It's a bit like a TV news doing a report on you," said Dunn, "only you have control over the content and where it's shown".
The cost includes all the pre-production, shooting and editing, as well as free hosting of a web-friendly video of around five minutes.
