Bigmouthmedia picks up DADI award for Tesco push

Bigmouthmedia and Tesco have won Best Search Engine Marketing Campaign at the inaugural Drum Awards for Digital Industries (DADI).

Bigmouthmedia, Europe's largest independent full search marketing company, walked away winners at the Drum Awards for Digital Industries (DADI Awards) last month, picking up the award for Best Search Engine Marketing Campaign for Tesco.com.

Bigmouthmedia impressed the judges in the Best Search Engine Marketing Campaign category with the energy and creativity demonstrated in the campaign for Tesco.

Manchester-based i-com were awarded in the same category for campaign on a budget.

The awards ceremony, hosted by The Drum, Scotland's leading marketing magazine, and sponsored by Scottish Enterprise, was held at the Radisson SAS hotel in Glasgow where there were some 21 awards up for grabs by finalists from across the UK.

Bigmouthmedia MD, Lyndsay Menzies, commented after the win: "It has been another win for bigmouthmedia and Tesco in what has been an extremely successful campaign - this is a fantastic result for our client and for all our team that have worked so hard on the campaign".

It has been an exciting time for bigmouthmedia - the news of the nomination comes shortly after a string of successes in other business and industry awards.

These recent wins include the 'AXA Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award' at the National Business Awards 2006 and 'Best Use of Search Optimisation/Search Marketing' with client Superbreak - the online travel company - at the Technology for Marketing and Advertising Awards in February 2007 and being named in the Top 50 FT UK Workplaces for 2007.
