Bezier, Europe's largest in-store marketing agency, has appointed Janette Young to the position of group procurement director to drive strategic partnerships.

Janette Young has considerable experience at senior level in the procurement of direct and indirect goods within a wide range of FMCG industries.

Latterly, during seven years with Uniq, she held the post of procurement director at Indirects - Europe.

In her new role she will be responsible for developing bezier's strategic procurement policies, ensuring that the group maximises its enhanced purchasing power while developing strategic partnerships with key suppliers.

Young will work closely with all existing site-based procurement professionals throughout the enlarged bezier group.

She also has a proven track record of delivering cost savings, and working alongside sales and marketing teams to execute profitable sales growth.

Mark Shaw, CEO of the bezier group, said: "We're delighted that Janette has joined us, and look forward to her contribution in driving bezier's strategy forwards: I'm confident that with such a high calibre of experience in this area, Janette will contribute significantly to our future prosperity and growth." Young's appointment follows bezier's acquisition of Leeds-based brand communications agency Poulters, and permanent POP solutions supplier Pointer last year.
