Beyond creates beauty concept for Tesco
Retail branding start-up Beyond Communications has developed a new 'beauty world' concept for Tesco Home plus stores.
Working in association with Tesco and L'Oreal, retail branding start-up Beyond Communications has been tasked with creating a new health and beauty 'shop in shop' department in Liverpool.
Beyond is responsible for the overall concept to create a more department store feel within a grocery environment.
The department's main focus is on beauty and features premium cosmetics fixtures at the front of the store.
Nigel Stern, MD of Beyond, commented: "We have created a customer experience not usually associated with the grocery sector - it's about making her (the customer) feel inspired and looked after.
"Working with Tesco on this project has proved to be a very rewarding and dynamic experience".
Started just a year ago by ex-chairman of Coutts Creative Nigel Stern, fomer MD of Coutts Creative Marc Went, and former Creative Director of Coutts Creative Nick Butcher along with Robert Essex, former Chairman of Media Square, Beyond Communications is a multidisciplinary design and retail consultancy focusing on three core competencies - strategy, design and implementation.
The company already boasts a client list that includes not only Tesco and L'Oreal but also Original Additions, Boots Retail International and Strutt and Parker.
Based in Chiswick, Beyond has a staff of 10 and has acquired its own offices with a view to further expansion.
