BCS PR campaign supports apprenticeship scheme

A BCS product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Feb 9, 2010

BCS PR has been appointed to promote the government-led National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) across the east Midlands.

The NAS campaign is part of a nationwide communications programme aimed at raising awareness of the business benefits of taking on apprentices and showing young people that apprenticeships are a good alternative to pure academic study when starting out in a career.

BCS PR is implementing a multi-channel PR campaign involving television, radio, press and new media.

Alan Boyden, group managing director of BCS PR, said: 'One of the key objectives of this brief is to raise awareness of the benefits of having an apprentice within your organisation, be that commercial or public sector.

BCS PR will report directly to Jane Williams, marketing and communications manager for the NAS.
