Bango unveils unique visitor counting measure
Bango has revealed new technology designed to assist website owners measure the value of their mobile sits by accurately counting unique visitors.
The new site analysis offered by Bango Analytics v3.0 sits alongside existing campaign analysis functionality and features image tag technology to identify unique users.
The process works by creating a privacy protected Bango User ID for each individual that clicks on an advert or browses a site.
The ID is compiled through WAP gateway profiling, data from browser analysis, session information and network interactions, and enables Bango to distinguish between new and repeat visitors.
