ABC unveils launch dates for press group reports
ABC has confirmed the monthly release dates for 2007 Group Product Reports that include ABC and ABC Electronic audited data for both print and website editions of national newspapers.
Following the successful launch of the Group Product Report format, ABC has confirmed the monthly release dates for the reports covering audited data for both print and web editions of national papers.
The announcement will be the first time national newspaper website figures have been made available on a pre-announced date each month, supporting those papers that already commit to the transparent and comparable currency for online, delivered by independent third party auditing, to agreed industry standards.
Chris Boyd, chief executive at ABC, commented: "A number of the national newspapers have already committed to providing the market with audited web traffic data alongside their print edition figures, and the ability to report both sets of data in a Group Product Report format will aid advertisers and buyers in making their buying decisions with the brand, whether online or offline.
"A regular report date for these national newspapers further underlines the importance of transparent and comparable circulation and audience data as a robust trading currency for the buying and selling of media space, regardless of channel".
Audit release dates are as follows.
February: 22 March.
March: 26 Apri.
April: 24 May.
May: 28 June.
June: 26 July.
July: 23 August.
August: 27 September.
September: 25 October.
October: 22 November.
November: 27 December.
