Enterprise News Ticker offers real-time updates

Andromeda, the provider of delivery EPOS systems and internet ordering solutions, has announced the launch of an add-in communications module for its Rameses POS system.

The Enterprise News Ticker module allows chains running Andromeda's Enterprise software to post real-time news updates to the sites.

The updates are displayed, ticker tape style, on all EPOS terminals in each location.

The system also provides further in-depth information behind each headline shown in the news ticker.

This additional service meets a real and pressing need - how to communicate information to a wide network of sites in a timely fashion.

Historically, this has been done via labour intensive ring around and round robin systems.

The system is particularly effective in crisis management by passing critical information to each site instantly.

For example, an alert can be transmitted in the case of issues with bank card processing.

It can also be used to let the chain's leadership team keep sites up to date with a weekly or even daily message.

The Enterprise News Ticker is available for a small additional charge to all chain customers, as part of the latest version update.
