Goodbye SPARX, Hello Aspectus
SPARX Communications, public relations specialists for the technology, energy and finance sectors, has become Aspectus PR.
The name celebrates a process of change at the company, with a move to new London offices, improved service offerings for the company's clients, a number of new hires into key positions, and a series of new business wins.
Managing director Alastair Turner said: "Aspectus means both a view, prospect or outlook, and looking at all aspects of a situation, which of course is the foundation for any successful PR campaign.
"It's a great, outward-looking name; it's also a very accurate reflection of what the company has been doing in the last 12 months: taking stock of our services and re-evaluating them to match client needs and a constantly changing media landscape".
Turner explained: "The company has gone from strength to strength in the last 12 months.
"The team here has been working incredibly hard to enhance the brands of our clients, and we felt it was exactly the right time to look at and update our own identity.
"It's all too easy to get cynical about a rebranding exercise and see it as just another attempt to get publicity, but if it's got real change behind it then it can be really invigorating.
"Moving our offices to London and bringing new people on board has injected energy into the company.
"We wanted a brand new identity that reflects a new way of thinking about ourselves and the work we do - we're really excited about our new identity and we think we've got a brand that gives an excellent impression of us as a company, and one that we and our clients can get behind".
