Arken shines at POPAI awards
Arken, the POP designer and manufacturer, proudly walked away with five awards at the POPAI awards in October.
Arken picked up two golds, one silver and two bronze awards from POPAI Its Guinness refrigeration unit for Diageo was the star of the night, not only winning gold for best display in the alcoholic and soft drinks category but also winning a bronze award for Display of the Year

Hanging systems complement wide range of displays
The new hanging systems from arken are available in both front-opening and slide-in format and are perfect for displaying paper posters, card or a variety of vinyl substrates.
The judges said "they were impressed by the Guinness refrigeration unit's impact and brand presence - it combines the convenience of chilled cans and multi-pack stock in one location and has boosted sales in 150 stores throughout Ireland".
Gold also went to arken's in-counter printer display for Kodak.
The judges commented that it was "an innovative and modern unit placed within a difficult retail environment- it has great balance of branding, education, theatre and interaction and utilises space in an efficient manner".
Arken's wetsuit display for O'Neill gained a silver award in the sports, toys and accessories category.
In the judges words "this striking, modular display for O'Neill is essentially a simply constructed unit that uses bold curves to strike a pose in store - fitting either back to back or side by side, these units utilise graphics and branding in a very bright, clear, controlled manner".
A bronze was awarded to arken's 'life on the move' display for Comet.
These modular units display portable products within the store, all gathered in one dedicated area called 'life on the move'.
