Aqueduct has appointed Jon Reay as digital strategist.

Reay's responsibilities in the newly created role include expanding long-term digital opportunities with clients, and providing digital advice to clients and staff.

Previously Reay spent five years at Sapient in its London, Indian and European offices, working with brands such as Orange and IKEA, moving on to New Zealand agency Shift as business analyst and strategist.

GfK Automative has announced the appointment of Francisco Lopez Ramirez as managing director of its UK operation.

Lopez Ramirez will report to the chairman, Adrian Wimbush, and assume day-to-day responsibility for the running of the company.

Lopez Ramirez joins GfK Automotive from JATO Dynamics, where he was general manager for Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands.

In his new role Lopez Ramirez will take full operational responsibility for GfK Automotive, with a particular focus on business development.

Top Position has announced that it will open its first UK office for five years in Nottinghamshire in September.

The space will house the firm's search engine optimisation (SEO) department and act as the headquarters for client development, staff training and sales within the organic search sector.

Finally, Juniper Research has appointed Andrew Kitson as senior analyst.

Previously with Business Monitor International (BMI), Kitson has written extensively on the mobile, broadband and fixed-line telecommunications markets.

As senior analyst, Kitson will be responsible for developing Juniper Research's report portfolio, including growing the company's mobile handsets and devices reports and enhancing and expanding Juniper's coverage of mobile markets.
