Applied Language Solutions has one thing and one thing only in mind - its customers, so it has a launched the Talkbase Points reward system for them.

The international translation company has devised a new customer reward system, Talkbase Points Richard Michie, Head of PR and Marketing, said: "Our customers are at the heart of everything we do at Applied Language, so we thought Talkbase Points would be a great way to show our appreciation for their loyal custom over the last four years and in the years ahead"

Talkbase Points is based on a very simple principle: for every GBP100, $200 or euro145 a customer spends on any Applied Language service they will, in return, receive Talkbase points.

The points can be accumulated and used to claim some great gifts which will range from Applied Language T-shirts and jackets to 32" widescreen televisions.

Alternatively, customers can choose to donate their points to a charity of their choice.

Talkbase Points go green - additionally, for as little as four Talkbase points, the customer can request that Applied Language plant a native tree in one of four Thailand locations.

This tree-planting project was designed for the reforestation of degraded land.

All trees planted will therefore restore biodiversity, water resources and soil quality to the land, and absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Michie said: "Talkbase Points is such a worthwhile reward system as it not only rewards our customers with gifts and the chance to donate to charity but it also gives us the opportunity to work together in reducing our carbon footprint.

"This will work hand in hand with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy we implemented last year".

It is through Applied Language's web-based customer portal, Talkbase.Net, that customers can keep track of their Talkbase Points as well as their translation projects, and choose what they wish to spend the points on.

Talkbase.Net is state of the art technology designed internally through which the translation company's project management is conducted, allowing for improved efficiencies, delivery time, quality and ultimately competitiveness.
