The Association of Publishing Agencies (APA) has announced that the International Content Summit, to be held on 24 November 2010, will focus on branded editorial content.

The summit, entitled 'The Power and Future of Content', takes the form of a one-day conference, gathering experts in digital and print to define and discuss the concept of 'content'.

The event will bring together international marketers, media leaders and content makers to give insight into the industry to brand marketers and agency professionals.

An interactive format of roundtables, panel discussions and QandA sessions will see industry experts debate the issues of the day.

Confirmed speakers include: David Seers from the Central Office of Information; Ben Hammersley from 'Wired' magazine; Julia Hobsbawm, chief executive officer at Editorial Intelligence; Julie Meyer, chief executive officer at Ariadne Capital; Lorna Tilbian from Numis Securities; James Pimentel-Pinto from Agency Mobile; and Susan Aubrey-Cound from Marks and Spencer.

The summit programme is divided into five key sessions, giving a 360-deg view of the content industry and its future.

The subjects to be debated include: the future of content for brands; what consumers want and how they want it; the future of advertising; content and distribution; and cross-media content and driving brand sales.
