Sky News to appear on Amscreen forecourt screens

An Amscreen product story

Amscreen has signed up Sky News as a content partner for its network of digital forecourt screens.

The deal means Sky News feeds - already familiar to rail, rube, car and airport passengers - will reach motorists via Amscreen's 1,600-venue network, which delivers 35 million views every fortnight nationwide.

Amscreen's signage network will enable the broadcaster to change message at any time throughout the day.

James Weeks, executive producer - new media at Sky News, said: 'As part of Sky News's digital distribution strategy, we aim to reach viewers across as many digital screens and platforms as possible, from televisions to laptops, train stations to Iphones and Ipads.

'By expanding to Amscreen's forecourt network, we have another opportunity to reach viewers with breaking news in an innovative way,' he added.
