Ambition creates website for bowel cancer charity

Ambition Communications has launched a website for Beating Bowel Cancer that offers patients, relatives, health professionals, supporters and the public easier access to information on the disease.

The website also provides an improved way to get involved with the charity and its work.

The site features an online forum and an 'Ask the Nurse' section and is launched with a video welcome message from Beating Bowel Cancer's patron, Matt Dawson.

Ambition said the website benefits from enhanced navigation and search technology, enabling users to identify at a glance the information most relevant to them - whether they are patients, carers, medics, corporate partners, journalists or fundraisers.

The information they select can be bookmarked, downloaded or saved accordingly, helping visitors get the most from the site as efficiently as possible.

Patient and fundraiser 'real-life stories' appear on each page, helping to bring the content to life and to engage users, and photography used throughout the site features members of the charity's Patient Voices group as well as general supporters.
