Web technology solutions company Amaze has signed a new partnership agreement with SDL Tridion, a global leader in web content management solutions.

The agreement will also see Amaze using SDL Tridion R5 as its preferred content management system platform.

Through this agreement the Cheshire-based company will develop closer links with SDL Tridion's research and development team.

Amaze will be sharing best practice methods with SDL Tridion and this will allow Amaze to pass on greater efficiencies in their project developments to clients, as well as ensuring the highest quality of deliverable software.

The companies share a long and successful history in combining state of the art content management solutions with expertise in web design and implementation.

Previous high-profile clients that have used Amaze and SDL Tridion to deliver their websites include Toyota Marketing Europe, Archant, the UK's largest independently owned regional media business, Greater London Authority, Advantage West Midlands, a Regional Developments Agency, and WS Atkins.

Mike Johnstone, Sales and Marketing Director at Amaze, said: "This new partnership agreement with SDL Tridion will significantly strengthen our relationship, both commercially and technically.

"In addition, we will be committing further technical resources to our SDL Tridion practice, which will involve a collaborative intensive training programme.

"By embarking on this new commercial framework and embracing the partner accreditation process, we intend to secure our position as the leading SDL Tridion business partner in the UK market".

Terry Hall, Sales Director for SDL Tridion UK, said: "The two businesses have worked successfully together over many years combining state of the art content management solutions with expertise in design and implementation.

"This agreement strengthens this partnership and provides the perfect platform for more success in the future".

Amaze, which has its headquarters in Daresbury, recently became part of Manchester-based Hasgrove, the pan-European communications and marketing group.
