Alterian enters Enterprise Marketing Report
Alterian, an enterprise marketing platform provider, was among the eight companies that qualified to participate in the January 2008 Forrester Wave: Enterprise Marketing Platforms, Q1 2008.
As a new entrant to this report, Alterian was cited as a strong performer.
The market will continue to grow, as evidenced by Forrester's August 2007 report "Forecast: Global Enterprise Marketing Platforms: 2007 to 2013," in which it projected that the EMP market will grow at nearly 20 per cent through to 2013.
In the Wave report, Forrester evaluated eight leading enterprise marketing platform providers across 160 criteria and three scenarios.
Each scenario focuses on a marketing role: marketing leadership, relationship marketing and marketing operations.
Alterian was recognised as a strong performer in all three scenarios.
In addition to receiving the top scores in the Corporate Strategy, Cost, Installed Base and Partnerships categories, the strength of Alterian's analytics-based offering was specifically recognised in the report.
"Alterian's Data Discovery and Visualisation module gets rave reviews from marketers for its ease of use and support for campaign design; Alterian has also successfully integrated most of the acquired IP into the core platform," wrote Suresh Vittal, Forrester Senior Analyst and the report's author.
