CMP Information, Melville and Earls Court and Olympia Group take the spotlight in the AEO Excellence Awards 2008 shortlist.
Of the 41 shortlisted companies, three are leading the charge CMP Information notches up an incredible 12 shortlisted entries, while Melville is named six times and ECandO Venues has four nominations

Out of 43 companies that have made the shortlist for the AEO Excellence Awards, to be announced on 14 June, three companies are dominating the list - Clarion, CMPi and Opex.
Excellence Awards 2008 to be at Earl's Court 2
The 2008 AEO Excellence Awards, launched by the Association of Event Organisers, will be hosted by ECandO Venues, in Earl's Court 2, on 4 June next year.
ExCeL London, the British Marine Federation, Stanco/Opex and Delaware North for Wembley Stadium also make multiple appearances in the shortlist.
The judging panel of representatives from across the industry gathered on Wednesday 2 April to review the entries and decide who will take the prizes at the awards ceremony on 4 June at Earls Court 2.
There were a number of new categories, and several others had been refreshed, all of which led to an increase in the overall number of entries this year.

The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) will host its 2007 Conference in Manchester Central, the new name for G-MEX/MICC, on 6 September 2007.
AEO Marketing Forum inspires fresh thinking
Some 175 event marketing professionals attended the AEO Marketing Forum 2007, held on Thursday 21 June at the Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre in London.
"Many of the judges commented on how much they enjoyed the judging process," said AEO Director Hilary Lawson.
"The panel takes their responsibility very seriously and the judging provoked much debate this year.
"Congratulations to all those shortlisted, the competition was fierce and all the nominated entries have done really well".
