The all new AEO 100 has been launched
The AEO 100, sponsored by TSNN.co.uk (the UK's largest online directory and resource for the exhibition industry), has been publicised in the Autumn issue of the EIA Standard magazine.
The AEO 100 report and tables have also been posted on the AEO and TSNN websites The format of this year's AEO 100 has evolved as a result of industry consensus, allowing for a more accurate and transparent representation of the events/exhibitions industry in 2006

The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) will host its 2007 Conference in Manchester Central, the new name for G-MEX/MICC, on 6 September 2007.
We have taken non-annual shows out of the main tables to give a like-for-like comparison, and have indicated all co-located shows.

The AEO 100 charts the top ABC/ BPA audited UK-based exhibitions that were organised by AEO members* in 2006 (* Companies that were AEO members at the time of compiling this report).
All the AEO 100 data has been compiled by the AEO Research Department.
The net stand space data is measured in square metres, and was sourced to members' 2006 stand declaration forms.
All visitor data was provided by ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations).
The AEO 100 report contains two separate listings - Top 46 Consumer Exhibitions ranked by Total Attendance, and Top 50 Trade Exhibitions ranked by Net Stand Space.
In addition to these listings, the AEO has compiled a third table - Top 50 Trade Exhibitions ranked by Total Attendance, and further 'spin-off' tables that analyse the AEO 100 from a range of perspectives.
