AEO sign-ups prove weight of events sector
The broadening appeal of live events has seen Grant Thornton hard on the heels of Channel 4 and Telegraph Media Group in joining the Association of Event Organisers.
Financial and business advisor Grant Thornton has come on board at the AEO citing the fact that events have very much hit the media radar at Grant Thornton HQ.
AEO Director Hilary Lawson commented: "Grant Thornton wishes to engage with us at many levels including the provision of M and A advice to members, audit and tax advice, research support and more.
"We are sure that we can help develop Grant Thornton's understanding and involvement in the industry and that, in turn, they will add value to AEO members and the wider community".
Grant Thornton Director Stuart Sparkes said: "We are excited about our appointment to the AEO; Grant Thornton has a wealth of experience acting for clients in the exhibition industry and being an integral part of this community will enable us to broaden our own knowledge of the sector while bringing our specialist expertise to the organisation".
