The Association of Exhibition Organisers is organising a second Marketing Forum for senior marketing professionals following success with the first in 2006.

Fresh Thinking will be the theme of the 2007 AEO Marketing Forum to be held at the Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre in Westminster on 21 June Open to AEO, AEC and AEV members only, this event is aimed at CEOs, Marketing Directors, Marketing Managers, Event Managers, Sales Directors, Sales Managers and other professionals who need to engage in fresh thinking on event marketing

The event working group has put together a programme focused on changing trends within event marketing as well as perceptions of marketing within the industry.

Chaired by UKIP Media and Events' managing director, David Pegler, the speaker line-up includes Thames Gateway Forum's Andrew Dowding, Brand Events marketing director Nicola Meadley, IBE managing director David Wood, Damian Norman, show manager for the Ski and Snowboard Show, and Sean Singleton, managing director of new media agency Skive.

Panellists include last year's most popular speaker, Reed Exhibitions' Alison Berends, along with Alison Jackson (managing director, Emap TPS) Stephan Israel (central services director, CMP information) and Nigel Nathan (commercial director, ECandO Group).

Hilary Lawson, AEO director, commented: "Last year's inaugural Marketing Forum was a runaway success, bringing together event marketers from all sectors to gain inspiration, share ideas and look at what really works in the world of visitor marketing.

"This year we are building on that success, bringing a top line-up of speakers to present case studies on the channels and techniques that deliver results - and those that don't - as well as examining how the role of the event marketer is changing.

"It's a must-attend for anyone serious about marketing events".

The new website www.aeo.org.uk/mf launched by marketing sponsor ASP Consulting provides further information and registration facilities.

ASP Consulting's head of event strategy, Jo Tyler, commented: "We are proud to sponsor the Marketing Forum as it provides a fantastic opportunity for our clients and others to network and exchange ideas away from their busy office environments".
